Attorney George C. Luther served three years in the United States Army from 1966 through 1968. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1971 and The University of Mississippi Law School in 1973, having completed undergraduate and law school in just five years. Since 1974 he has been a sole practitioner with a practice limited to criminal and traffic offenses for the last 20 years. He has tried hundreds of cases throughout Ohio and surrounding states to judges and juries in both state and federal court. He has obtained acquittals and favorable plea agreements in high profile cases ranging from homicide offenses to major drug offenses.
Mr. Luther has been involved in more high-profile cases than anyone else in central Ohio. He has handled over 150 homicide cases, including over 30 capital cases, hundreds of major drug charge, money laundering and gun cases, plus million-dollar white-collar fraud cases, in both state and federal court.
His commitment to the jury system is matched only by his dedication to the pursuit of justice for all individuals: the poor, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the damned. His goal is to protect the rights of all people from government action.
